Hello everyone and welcome back to #alexjostories! So, tomorrow is my birthday and I am going to be twenty-one years old. PARTY MOOD ON! I want the week with my birthday to be amazing and full of fun activities and no sad moments. I don’t even know how to feel about it, honestly. I wanted to write an article talking about last year. I want to talk about how twenty years old has been for me and also my wishes for next year and what I want to accomplish by the time I am going to be twenty-two. The only main thing I want to accomplish in this next year is to be happy and content with myself.
The past two years have been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. I don’t remember exactly if I talked about it before, but since I moved to the UK in order to study at University I feel like I have been through a continuous process of growing up and finding myself. I am so blessed that I found amazing people in Uni and also I am so blessed to have my friends and family supporting me all the way, but I feel like this past year has been super challenging. I lived some of the best moments of my entire life up so far, I had more fun than I had in the last ten years and I also made some mistakes that I am truly sorry about.
The most amazing moments in the past year have been filled with laughter, tonnes of pretty funny ideas and lots of trips. My twenty-year-old-self has found more about the people around, more about the world she is living in and more about herself than ever before. My wish for next year till I am going to be twenty-two is to be happy and calm and content with myself. I had so many stupid thoughts and moments when I just wanted to disappear. I don’t want anything materialistic, I just want to be happy and ok with everything.
I will leave down here some pictures to show some of the most amazing moments in the past year. Hopefully, this one is going to be even better. I hope you guys have a happy life, do whatever you want, accomplish everything you desire and for my birthday I desire nothing more than happiness for everyone.
