The Tree of Life

Hello everyone and welcome back to #alexjostories!
This is the first Poem to get published here and it’s a poem that means a lot to me because Konstantin, a dear friend of mine and our first poet, wrote this amazing poem inspired by my own drawing.
Born in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, Konstantin N. Rega studies British & American Literature and Creative Writing at The University of Kent in Canterbury, England. Rega has been published by The Claremont Review, Pointed Circle, Four Ties Lit Review, AOM, Minetta Review, Platform Review, Crack the Spine, Badlands Literary Journal, FIVE:2: ONE, and has won the ZO Magazine Silver Prize for Poetry, and is currently a Review Assistant for Newfound. Rega also presents Jazz Jams on CSRfm 97.4. His blog is: https://neomodernkonstantin.weebly.com/
I hope you guys enjoyed this poem as much as I did. It is a really different approach to poetry. Konstantin makes writing poems look so easy. It would have taken me 5 years to write something as amazing as this. This is the best start for our new category. Thank you, Konstantin, for changing my dull drawing that started as a joke into a beautiful poem.
Have an awesome weekend everyone and I’ll #seeyousoon!
